Overview

PacaLife is a cozy productivity app for tasks, lists, calendar planning, voice-assisted organization, reminders, and collaboration. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your account details, task and list content, notes, reminders, shared-list invitations, collaborator email addresses, notification preferences, and settings.

If you connect Google Calendar, we may receive calendar metadata and event information needed to display or schedule events in PacaLife. If you use voice features, audio or transcript text may be processed to detect tasks, dates, priorities, events, and checklist items.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and improve PacaLife, sync your data across devices, support collaboration, send invitations and reminders, process voice commands, protect accounts, debug issues, and maintain app reliability.

Service Providers

PacaLife uses trusted providers to operate the app, including Clerk for authentication and application invitations, Neon for database storage, Google APIs for connected calendar features, OpenAI APIs for optional voice and intent processing, Vercel for hosting, and browser push services for notifications.

These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to PacaLife.

Google Calendar Data

If you connect Google Calendar, PacaLife uses calendar access to show selected calendars, import visible event details, and help schedule tasks or reminders. PacaLife does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Sharing and Collaboration

When you invite another person to a list, we store the invitee email address, list identifier, permission level, and invite status. Collaborators may see shared list names, tasks, notes, events linked to that list, and member details according to their permission level.

Notifications

If you enable web push notifications, your browser creates a push subscription that allows PacaLife to send reminders. You can disable notifications through your browser or device settings.

Data Retention and Choices

We keep account and app data for as long as needed to provide PacaLife or until you delete it or request deletion. You can edit or delete tasks, lists, events, and settings in the app. You may disconnect third-party access, such as Google Calendar, from the relevant provider account settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No internet service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong account password and protect access to your devices.

Children

PacaLife is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at courtneythko@gmail.com so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
